The Center for Research and Promotion of Human Rights (CIPRODEH)is a non-governmental, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization founded in 1989. In order to improve citizen empowerment in the development of inclusive public policies, the CIPRODEH has oriented itself towards the research and promotion of human rights through the following processes:
- awareness-raising
- civic education
- advocacy
- outreach
- technical assistance
The programs CIPRODEH covers address the following topics:
- human rights in democratic governance
- economic, social and cultural rights
- the enhancement of public access to justice
- institutional development
The organization publishes an annual report on legislative monitoring, as well as various other publications and newsletters.
